There is an appealing story to the Cambodia casinos that reside just across the border from next door Thailand, in which gambling hall wagering is not allowed. The Naga river boat is open all day and night with 42 tables of mini-baccarat chemin de fer, 4 tables of twenty-one, ten of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and 1 each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.
The original gambling hall in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, opened in 1999 and the Golden Crown before long opened. A total of one hundred and fifty slots and five table games at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four one armed bandits and 68 table games at the Holiday Palace. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an international resort and hotel compound that contains a number of comforts on top of the casino, which provides 10,000 sq.ft. of 130 slots and eighty eight tables.
