Gaming supervisors must have certain leadership qualities and great communication skills. They need these techniques both to supervise staff efficiently and to greet members in order to encourage return visits. Most casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor’s degree. Despite their educational background, however, many supervisors gain experience in other gaming jobs before moving into supervisory positions because knowledge of games and casino operations is important for these staff.
